When I started making a frock for Kshetra as a Diwali gift to her. It was kshetra's uma aunty ( My neighbor....) who reminded me that for diwali we need to wear Pattu pavadai and not frock..... She gave me a ponnada ( cloth woven with golden thread, These are Shawls presented to guest as an honour, golden shawl ).
She requested me to stich pavadai and blouse for kshetra with that ponnada...... I found the idea of converting ponnada to pavadai very interesting......

The very same day i made pavadai for my junjumol :))))))))Happy Diwaliii junjumol......
